My life

Work takes the most part of our time. Being children we saw our parents to go somewhere what they call “work”. Work gives them money and they buy toys, sweets and beautiful clothes. When Dad came home Mom gave him dinner and waited till the moment he was able to speak about his day and answer her questions. After that it was our time. He could play games, answer our endless “why?” and watch TV with us.
When we grew up and chose our professions and career, times changed. Computers entered the world, conquered it and started to change life.
More and more people stay at home and “come to work” in gowns or pajamas and slippers. They do not need to go to an office or any other place. They are freelancers. They work at home. In the morning Dad gets up rather early to take kids to school. Mom also gets up early to make breakfast and talk with everyone. Then both Mom and Dad take places in front of their computers. Dad is a copywriter, he writes articles at home. Then he sends them by e-mail and takes another article for writing. Mom is a translator. She translates articles, sites, goods descriptions and writes articles for foreign editions. Both Mom and Dad are happy to be at home. They have got time for rest and theatre, they play with kids and though they work hard, they have deadlines and some problems, they decide these problems themselves. From time to time kids try to write down a story, a book, and a novel as they see their parents at work and copy them in a way.
Is a new generation of freelancers being formed?
